They show that hijabs can be fashionable and beautiful in stead of just a piece of fabric wrapped around your head.
WHY
With this new collection Dolce & Gabbana has made a fashion statement. They show that it’s okay for women to wear a Hijab and go against the Hijab discussion. We should respect the fact that these women are wearing this for there religion. This collection shows us how diverse the world is. The trend diversity fits with this one. We see a shift in the fashion scene, but it can also have an impact on global scale.
The collection stays true to the origin of the Hijabs, but makes them a little more fashionable for women to wear. Dolce & Gabbana is the first high fashion brand that introduces a line of hijabs for middle eastern women. Will other brands follow?
