Differences
For this blogpost I once again have done a new assignment from the book 'How to be an explorer of the world'. This time I flipped through the pages and stopped randomly, this gave me assignment 11.
'Collect multiples of one thing (such as leaves, stones, shells, seeds, etc.) Lay them out in front of you. observe them in detail. Using the 'object log'. list the differences you see. try to document at least twenty-five things. '
When I read the assignment I immediatly know what kind of object I was going to observe. Shells ofcourse, I'm a big shell collector, every holiday I go home with some new ones. I have a glass full of them, most came from Thailand, that ones are the most special and beautifull.
So here I go, 25 differences;
1. They are all a different color
2. Most of them are a different shape
3. 1,2,5,6,7,8,9,11,13 are the same kind of shell and different from the others
4. 3,5,10 are the same kind of shell and different form the others
5. 4 and 12 are the same kind of shell and different from the others
6. Number 15 is a special one, in a weird shape
7. Number 10 is a outworn shell
8. Number 6 has a little whole
9. Number 2 and 11 have a swirl that you can see clearly, that's different from the others
10. Number 9 is a black one, different from his same kind of shells
11. Number 5 is a dark one, different from his same kind of shells
12. Number 14 is a purple one and
13. 3,4,5,10,12,15 are with a texture, different from the others
14. 1,2,6,7,8,9,11,13,14 are smooth and shiney, different from the others
15. 4 is wither than 12
16. 7 is the most pink
17. Wait, 8 has a little whole too
18. The swirl in 11 is the brightest pink, different from the others

20. 4 is the lightest
21. They are all a different size
