Virtual reality everywhere you go
Have you always wanted to see the mount Everest or a dessert in Egypt? Well now you can experience everything what you like to. And the best part, you can do it while you’re cosy and warm, just chilling on your coach with your Iphone.
WHAT
All you need, is the Figment VR Iphone case. Figment VR is the first virtual reality phone case on earth. With the design of an Iphone case, you can easily do your VR experience anywhere and everywhere you go. You just pull it out of your pocket, flip the case over and you’re ready to have a amazing VR experience. The only thing you need to have extra is an VR app on your phone, and there are lots of them so you have plenty of choice and exploring to do.
What is virtual reality?
Virtual reality, also VR, is a way of digital experience. It’s an interactive way of experience that makes you feel like you are actually there, swimming with sharks. There are lots of things that give you the VR experience like the Google Cardboard or the Oculus rift, but these are not as easy to take with you as Figment is.
Design of the case
The case comes in two colors, black and white. But they are planning to make a champagne one, so look out for that! The VR vieuwer can completely fold back in and that makes Figment look like any other phone case. The vieuwer has the right distance that’s needed to keep your eyes from the screen. You can also use the phone case as a kickstand for your phone, nice extra!
And I can hear you think, does this also protects your phone? Of course it does! The case is made of different kinds of plastic and silicone rubber to protect your phone.
WHY
The Figment VR is an experience you have in the product. You use the case to have an awesome experience and you can explore the world. It fits the experience economy, where we want everything to be an experience, but also augmented reality that we have already seen in other products, that are described in my older blogposts. Augmented reality means that there is a layer over reality, and that’s exactly what’s happening with Figment VR.
